Stark County Ending Agreement with Frontier Going with MidCentury Communications

Stark County buildings will soon have fiber optic service courtesy of MidCentury Communications. That from Stark County Board Chairman Al Curry who told WKEI on our People to People Podcast on Monday that the county was looking to save money and was not getting the savings they needed from Frontier Communications… 

With this new agreement, MidCentury Communications will be laying fiber optic lines and that could create opportunities for more competition in phone, cable and internet service in portions of Stark County. For now, the county is set to make a significant savings by changing services over to MidCentury following a significant investment in equipment….
