Saturday, Don from the Breakfast Club on KNIM Country 95.9 FM and 1580 AM visited the Children’s Business Fair at the First Baptist Church Gym.  The fair is an annual event put on by the Maryville Public Library where the kids have to come up with a product, produce the product, and come up with a marketing plan. This includes cost analysis with manufacturing, marketing and profit projections.  Finally they design the advertising campaign and the layout of their table space to sell the product during the fair.  Holly Cronk, the morning show co-host on KNIM is the owner of Furluknat Farm…a sewing, Quilting and Craft shop in Maryville.  Holly is a judge for the fair and has even featured winners products in her store.  This is a great opportunity for the young entrepreneurs to hone their business acumen for future endeavors in business.
