With difficult winter road conditions there are many things for drivers to remember. Recently, Trooper Jason Wilson with the Illinois State Police was our guest on WKEI and road conditions were an issue that morning in January and Trooper Wilson encountered a driver who illustrated an important point regarding driving responsibly in difficult conditions… 

Another thing to remember is regarding trucks and 4 wheel drive. Just because your truck has four wheel drive it does not make you immune to the conditions… 

Remember to take your time on the roads during difficult conditions, increase your following distance and plan ahead to take a little more time to get where you are going.
