The crime log incidents posted may not match the crime statistics as reported in the Annual Campus Security and Fire Safety Report per the federal Clery Act, as the crime log is compiled using the Illinois Crimes Code and the crime statistics are required by law to be compiled using the Federal Uniformed Crime Reporting definitions.

According to federal law, an institution may withhold any of the required fields of entry, e.g. the nature, date, time, location and/or disposition, if any of the following conditions apply. Disclosure is prohibited: by law; would jeopardize the confidentiality of the victim; would jeopardize an ongoing criminal investigation or the safety of an individual; would cause a suspect to flee or evade detection; or would result in the destruction of evidence.

On Oct. 28 at 3:53 a.m. Aliah Hinton, 19, of 1303 Lincoln Hall, was arrested in Lincoln Hall for aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting a peace officer and consumption of alcohol by a minor. She was transported to McDonough County Jail at 3:57 a.m. where she was lodged pending bond.

On Oct. 29 at 11:32 a.m. an employee reported criminal damage to government property (broken drinking fountain) in Thompson Hall.

On Oct. 30 at 7:37 a.m. an employee reported criminal damage to government property (ceiling tiles in the lounge) in Thompson Hall.

On Oct. 31 at 10:38 a.m. OPS and the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire in Thompson Hall. No injuries were reported.

On Oct. 31 at 11:25 p.m. OPS and the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire in Thompson Hall. No injuries were reported.

On Nov.3 at 7:37 a.m., an employee reported criminal damage to government property for ceiling tiles in Thompson Hall valued at $50. The incident is under investigation.
